  I came to the mens department with my son due to a really awesome sale that was taking place. Staff were very helpful and went out of their way to assist us with finding the suit we wanted via their in house computer system at another store. Thats where the problems began. The system Saks has in place for inter store transfers doesn't work for beans. Take note all you people at the corporate level. Talk to the people that work for you and they will tell you, the in house store transfer system doesn't work. Each time the store would order the suit, after a week...the system drops the order. It does not notify the store or the customer. Here I am waiting for my item and I call the store only to be told that the system drops the order after so many days. Well thats sweet. Neither the sales staff nor the customer who has ordered it are aware. It took me nearly a month and the patience and assistance of Louise to get me the suit. It took three attempts and more than 9 hours at the store in addition to several phone calls to find the suit. Without the help and perseverance of Louise, we would not have obtained the suit and would have given up and gone elsewhere. I can't speak to the sales staff in the women's department because it is non existent and has been since the store opened.

  I was very disappointed while shopping at this Springfield, Va location. As a reputable store, one would assume it would be more organized considering it was only Tuesday mid-afternoon. Not to mention the staff on duty was not very welcoming, at all. I will be more hesitant upon future consideration in where I conduct my business. It would be nice to see upper management take action to prevent future loss of business. The adjacent establishment (Nordstrom Rack) really set the bar.
